ABSTRACT

Government preparedness in PAUD program is prioritized in creating the next generation of nation by forming character for early childhood such as: politeness, compassion, beauty, friendship, obedience, discipline and independence. The problem in this research is the lack of early childhood awareness in the early childhood of Bengkulu City. The purpose of this study to mengethaui correlation between family environmental factors affect the independence of early childhood In the Early Childhood School of Bengkulu City. The method used in this study is quantitative and the type of this study using correlational research is research conducted on problems that contain symptoms of influence between two or more variables. The population in this study amounted to 43 respondents, the sampling technique using the total sample amounted to 43 respondents. The results of this study obtained the value of r: 0.001 means, then interpreted the correlation between family environmental factors affect the independence of early childhood In the Early Childhood School of Bengkulu City. It is hoped that parents can understand how important a supportive family environment is to build an early childhood self-reliance.
